JEE Main Session-1 Admit Card 2026
Candidates Appearing from 21 to 24 January Can Download Now
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released a public notice regarding the JEE Main 2026 Session-1 (January 2026) admit cards. Candidates whose examinations are scheduled on 21, 22, 23, and 24 January 2026 can download their admit cards from 17 January 2026 through the official website.
JEE Main 2026 is being conducted at various examination centres across the country as well as in 15 cities outside India. This national-level examination is one of the most important entrance tests for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in India.
According to the NTA notice, Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be held from 21 to 24 January 2026 in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, while the second shift will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Indian Standard Time). Admit cards for candidates appearing on these dates have been released on 17 January 2026.
For candidates whose examinations are scheduled on 28 and 29 January 2026, the admit cards have not been released yet. NTA has stated that admit cards for these dates will be issued in due course. These examination dates include Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and the combined Paper 2A & 2B.

How to Download JEE Main 2026 Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in. Login using your application number and password or date of birth. After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned on it.
Important Instructions Related to the Admit Card
NTA has instructed candidates to ensure that the QR Code and barcode are clearly visible on the admit card. Candidates must also carry the same photo identity proof that was uploaded during the online application process. Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed without a valid ID proof.
Candidates are strongly advised to read the Information Bulletin and subject-specific instructions carefully before appearing for the examination and strictly follow all guidelines mentioned in the question paper.
