The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has officially released the notification for the Lecturer Cadre (Group ‘C’) Service Exam 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 808 vacancies across various subjects in both the General and Women’s branches.

1. Key Dates and Schedule

• Advertisement Date: December 30, 2025.

• Online Application Commencement: December 31, 2025.

• Last Date to Apply & Pay Fee: January 20, 2026 (until 11:59:59 PM).

• Correction Window: January 28, 2026, to February 06, 2026.

2. Vacancy Breakdown

The total 808 posts are divided into two main categories:

• General Branch (725 Posts): Open to both male and female candidates.

• Women’s Branch (83 Posts): Exclusively for female candidates.

Subject-wise Vacancies (Major Subjects):

• Hindi: 78 (General) + 10 (Women)

• English: 54 (General) + 14 (Women)

• Physics: 73 (General) + 7 (Women)

• Chemistry: 51 (General) + 3 (Women)

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Post-Graduate (Master’s) degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Additionally, a B.Ed. degree or an LT Diploma is mandatory.

• Age Determination: The crucial date for calculating age is July 01, 2025.

• Important Note for Previous Applicants: Those who applied under the 2024 advertisement (except for the ‘Art’ subject) do not need to apply again, as their previous applications remain valid.

4. Application Fees

The application fee must be paid online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.

• General / OBC / EWS: Approximately ₹176.36 (including processing fees).

• SC / ST: Approximately ₹86.36 (including processing fees).

5. Selection Process and Exam Centers

• Selection Method: Selection will be based on a subject-wise Written Examination (Objective Type).

• Exam Centers: The written exams will be conducted in Haridwar and Haldwani. However, if the number of candidates is low, the exam may be held only in Haridwar.

• Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written exam, subject-wise and category-wise.

6. Essential Instructions for Candidates

• One Application: A candidate should fill only one application form even if applying for multiple subjects or branches.

• Branch Eligibility: Male candidates can only apply for the General Branch, while female candidates can apply for both the General and Women’s Branches.

• Document Verification: Candidates who pass the written exam must submit self-attested copies of their educational and reservation certificates to the Commission for verification.

• Debarment: Providing false information or forged documents will lead to debarment from UKPSC exams for up to 5 years.
