There’s a big update for candidates who applied for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Exam City Intimation Slip for the Tier-1 exam .

Exam Date (Tier-1): January 10 and 11, 2026

🕒 Exam Schedule & Shifts
The exam will be conducted over two days in different shifts:

How to check the exam city?
You can follow the steps given below to check your exam city:

Visit the official website: Log on to navodaya.gov.in , kvsangathan.nic.in , or cbse.gov.in.

Find the link: Click on the link “Click here for Link to check examination city under NVS & KVS Joint Recruitment Drive-2025” on the homepage.

Fill in the login details: Enter your Registration Number (which starts with ‘2598’) and Date of Birth .

Download slip: Enter the captcha code and submit it. The exam city information will appear on your screen.
Important note: This is only a ‘City Intimation Slip’; do not consider it an admit card . It only indicates the exam city so you can plan your travel. The complete address of the exam center will be on your final admit card.

💡 Some important things:

Login Issue: If you are unable to login, make sure you are using ‘Registration Number’ instead of ‘Application Number’.
