Vacancies are available in different Scheduled Tribe Residential Middle Schools and High Schools for both boys and girls. Teaching positions are offered across multiple subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Geography, Sanskrit, History, Social Science, and Primary Level Teaching. The requirement varies according to class levels, with opportunities available for teachers of classes 1 to 6 as well as 7 to 10.

The eligibility criteria clearly state that candidates must possess Graduation or Post-Graduation in the relevant subject from a recognized university. In addition, preference will be given to applicants who have completed teacher training, B.Ed., or equivalent professional qualifications recognized by the government. Selected teachers will be engaged on a part-time, hourly basis with a remuneration of ₹200 per hour. However, the working schedule is regulated, and no teacher will be assigned more than four hours of work per day or more than five working days per week. The selection process will be conducted based on merit and verification of documents, in accordance with the standards set by the Welfare Department. Since the engagement is contractual and temporary in nature, candidates must understand that this appointment does not guarantee permanent government service.
